SNK Neo Geo Pocket emulator is almost complete. This device is similar to Nintendo's GameBoy Color and Sega GameGear. The main advantage to its competitors is CPU: 16-bit TOSHIBA TLCS-900H. This is very powerful microprocessor, a worthy successor of old Zilog Z80. It has four banks of registers, huge instruction set, multi-level interrupt support and a lot more; so that is why I needed almost three months to develop perfect emulation.
SNK Neo Geo Pocket debuted in Japan in late 1998 but never saw a western release, being exclusive to Japan and smaller Asian markets such as Hong Kong. It is considered to be an unsuccessful console. Lower than expected sales resulted in its discontinuation in 1999.
