Sega SG-1000 was Sega's first video gaming console. To keep the price low, Sega opted to create the platform from the popular, off-the-shelf components, such as 8-bit Zilog Z80 CPU, Texas Instruments TMS9918A video and the SN76489 sound processor. It was very similar, but not compatible with ColecoVision, and with RAM extension module (DahJee or Jumbo) it was able to play some games for MSX computers. SG-1000 was on the market for two years, and it sold quite well, but it made little impact on the video game industry. However, it served as the basis for the Sega Master System in 1986.
Around 70 official games were released for SG-1000, mostly made by Sega, but also a few games were ported from MSX computers, by companies at Taiwan. Unfortunately, Sega SG-1000 was never popular among homebrew game developers. This release brings you 112 games for Sega SG-1000: Arno Dash, Arno Dash 2, Bank Panic, Bomb Jack, Bomberman Special, Borderline, C So!, Cabbage Patch Kids, Chack'n Pop, Challenge Derby, Champion Baseball, Champion Billiards, Champion Boxing, Champion Golf, Champion Ice Hockey, Champion Kendou, Champion Pro Wrestling, Champion Soccer, Champion Tennis, Championship Lode Runner, Che-Man, Cheril Perils Classic, Choplifter, Circus Charlie, Congo Bongo, Doki Doki Penguin Land, Dragon Wang, Drol, Earth Attack, Elevator Action, Exerion, Flicky, Foryster, Girl's Garden, Golgo 13, GP World, Gulkave, Guzzler, H.E.R.O., Hang-On II, Home Mahjong, Hustle Chumy, Hyper Sports, Hyper Sports 2, James Bond 007, Jet Paco and Jet Puri, King's Valley, Klondike Solitaire, Knightmare, Konami's Ping Pong, Lawnmower, Libreway, Lode Runner, Magical Kid Wiz, Magical Tree, Mahjong Solitaire, Monaco GP, N-Sub, Ninja Princess, O, Okamoto Ayako no Match Play Golf, Orguss, Othello, Pacar, Pachinko, Pachinko II, Palikat, Pegged, Pippols, Pitfall II: Lost Caverns, PitMan, Pop Flamer, Q-bert, Rally-X, Road Fighter, Rock 'n' Bolt, Safari Hunting, Safari Race, San-nin Mahjong, Sega Flipper, Sega Galaga, Sega Mahjong, Serizawa Hachidan no Tsumeshogi, Sgt. Hi Bostjan, You're doing a great job with Pantheon as it grows and improves over time and I love the fact it has multiple systems accessible with games automatically downloadable when you click on them.
ReplyDeleteThis is just a query as I know this is a development you are doing as a hobby and love for retro machines in your spare time. Would there be any way you could make the download window bigger (resize it on the fly once you've pressed CTRL+D) so you can see the error log when some games fail to download and/or allow the user to able to add alternative sources for games that can't be downloaded because the provided link is dead?. Or at least, having an option in that download window to save a plain TXT file with the results in order to search manually the failed ones later?. It's only a suggestion as I assume you're very busy.
Thank you for all your efforts enhancing Pantheon and bringing us retro memories in such an easy way!

You can pause download, if you click on a button that counts downloaded files, and resume if you click again. So pause download, click on the list, Select All (Ctrl+A) and Copy (Ctrl+C). Open text editor and Paste. Copy may take a few seconds, if you have a lot of text in the list.
DeleteDon't Select All + Copy if you don't Pause, this may stall you computer (depends on number of text in the list).
Thank you for the hint, I didn't know that it was possible to do such a thing. It's ok for me that way.
